Rockstar Energy Husqvarna has secured Jason Anderson for the next four seasons after re-signing the AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross front-runner to remain in the factory team.

The 24-year-old Anderson has been with Husqvarna’s official program since it was launched for 2015 when he moved up to the premier class and he has completed a long-term extension of that arrangement.

“I am beyond excited to extend my contract with the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team,” Anderson said. “They are like family and being with the brand for such a long time makes me feel very fortunate. I also look forward to continuing my career with Bobby Hewitt, since he has been such a huge support since the beginning.”

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna team manager Bobby Hewitt said it was a natural step for the pair to continue together: “Jason and I have been together for eight years now. He has always believed in me and I have always believed in him.

“Having this long-term contract shows that Husqvarna and everyone who supports our program believes in Jason. It’s really a great partnership between us and I’m grateful that we will be able to complete his entire career together. Now the focus can be on winning a championship for Rockstar Energy Husqvarna!”

Anderson came out of the gates in top form at Anaheim’s 2018 Monster Energy AMA Supercross opener last Saturday night, finishing second on debut aboard the up-spec FC 450 Rockstar Edition that the team is armed with for this year.
