DPH Motorsport ready to fire into Supercross

DPH Motorsport press release:

Kade Mosig, Wilson Todd & Hayden Mellross are prepared and ready for Round 1 of the Australian Supercross Championship in Jimboomba this Saturday night, with all 3 DPH Motorsport racers ready to challenge for the SX1 and SX2 titles in 2017.

Team Owner Dale Hocking: “It’s an exciting time heading into Supercross. After a long and successful motocross campaign, the entire time has pulled together to regroup, change gears and ramp up heading into the more spectacular part of the sport that we all love.

All the guys have spent time working on technique and setup, and earlier this week got their first ride in on their race bikes for the series. We can’t wait to line up in Jimboomba” An upbeat Dale said.

Once again aboard a YZ250F to race the SX2 class, Hayden Mellross is ready to race this weekend: “It’s so good to be back in racing in Australia again” Mellross said, “I’m a competitive guy so it’s been great to line up for a few races recently including the MXGP round in the US, but my focus is on that SX2 title, I really want it.

The team have given me a great bike, and we’ve been working to get the setup on point as well as testing just how hard I can push it, I can’t wait to get to Jimboomba.”
Wilson Todd will also line up in the SX2 class for 2017:

“I’m really happy with the direction we’re going, my race bike feels great and I kind of feel like there’s not so much pressure on me at the moment. We’ve all been riding together, pushing to make sure that we’re setting the pace on Saturday, and I can’t see why we won’t be” a confident Todd said.

YZ450F mounted racer Kade Mosig will once again line up against the best in the country in the premier SX1 Class: “I was really focused on motocross this year, and so to change things up heading into Supercross has been great to change my rhythm a little.

Supercross comes naturally to me, I love it. I can’t wait to get this championship started. My bike is feeling really dialed and I’m ready to go!” said Mosig.

Round 1 of the Australian Supercross Championship takes place in Jimboomba, QLD with gates opening at 2pm, Pit Party from 4pm and racing from 6pm. For more information or to purchase tickets head to www.australiansupercross.com.au/
