An all-new merchandise range has been released by reigning Motul MX Nationals MX1 champion Dean Ferris ahead of the 2017 racing season with a list of Ferris-branded items now available.

To be sold online and at events throughout the season, the Ferris merchandise range features shirts, hoodies, head-wear and even a cooler for your beverage track-side.

According to the CDR Yamaha rider, creating a merchandise range for 2017 gives him the opportunity to separate himself from his competitors and allow his fans to show their support on race day.

“With the merchandise, from my experience coming from Europe, where everybody cheers for their countryman, we don’t have that here because we’re all Aussies,” Ferris told MotoOnline.com.au. “I felt like this is an opportunity to separate myself from the others and give kids a hero and someone to cheer for, so launching a merchandise range is a good way to do that and none of my competitors have it.”

Following a successful pre-season launch at Hervey Bay in Queensland recently, Ferris feels confident in the new release as it has already gained substantial traction in a short amount of time.

“I launched it at Hervey Bay recently and it was overwhelming,” he explained. “The response I got, whether it was the kids, families or even some of the older fans. I saw them all running around on the Sunday at the race with the Ferris shirt on, that type of thing, so it’s definitely working so far.”
