Youthstream has confirmed that the MXGP of Italy will move to Ottobiano on 24-25 July, after Maggiora Park and Ottobiano Motorsport recently merged to create the 8M Sport Group.

In particular this project will help the reach of productive financial synergies between the two circuits and a more efficient overall management. The final goal is to create a network of facilities dedicated to action sports.

“This project between Maggiora and Ottobiano is fantastic for our sport, we have always believed the union could create strength,” Youthstream president Giuseppe Luongo said. “We are sure with the two structures and the know-how of both societies we can organise spectacular events. Besides the MXGP events we can start multiple projects focused on the growth of motocross and the youth activities, essential for the future of this sport. We wish to have great cooperation with 8M Sport Group starting from this 24 and 25 June for the MXGP of Italy.”

The MXGP of Italy will be contested as round 11 of the 2017 world championship series, replacing Maggiora Park – which hosted last year’s Motocross of Nations (MXoN) – and headed to Ottobiano.
