The Autotrader/Suzuki/JGRMX team will enlist the services of Kyle Cunningham to finish out the remainder of the 2017 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship East Coast 250SX rounds filling in for the injured Matt Bisceglia.

Kyle Peters, who initially filled the spot and logged strong 9-9-8 main event finishes for sixth overall in points to date, wrapped up his stint with the team following the Toronto round to prepare to contest the 2017 Australian racing calendar with the Wilson Coolair Motul Suzuki outfit in the premier class.

Cunningham, after recently parting ways with the BLUE Buffalo/Slater Skins Yamaha team, was preparing to put together his own privateer 450SX program before receiving the call from team manager Jeremy Albrecht this week.

“I actually rode my own 450 this week thinking I would race it in Daytona,” said Cunningham. “So getting the call from Jeremy asking me to ride the factory bike was great news.”

Cunningham, a 250SX veteran, returns to the familiar RM-Z250 after riding the model last year with the MotorcycleSuperstore.com Suzuki team, and is set to make his debut with the Autotrader/Suzuki/JGRMX squad this weekend in Daytona.

The Autotrader/Suzuki/JGRMX will continue to field two fill-in riders in Daytona with Jake Weimer also remaining as a replacement rider for the injured Weston Peick.
