Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Jason Anderson has been disqualified from tonight’s Anaheim 2 round of Monster Energy AMA Supercross after an incident with Vince Friese.

Anderson went down with MotoConcepts’ Friese in their heat race and exchanged differences in the tunnel post-race, which led to Anderson shoving Friese in the helmet.

The awkward physical altercation, which involved Friese’s mechanic on the back of his Honda, forced Anderson to fall as the pair returned to their pit. Race officials afterwards confirmed the DSQ of Anderson.

After finishing fourth in the opening two rounds at Anaheim 1 and San Diego, Anderson’s zero points-score at A2 bumps him down to ninth in the standings. Friese meanwhile is 18th overall after going on to finish 16th in the main event.
