Youth riders now have the option to choose the advanced technology 6D Helmets offer following the release of the brands ATR-1Y Macro helmet, designed specifically for young riders.
Incorporating all of the amazing benefits of 6D’s revolutionary Omni-Directional Suspension (ODS) technology, the helmet has no equal.
The ATR-1Y is designed with a softer multi-density EPS materials, and softer isolation dampers that offer superior protection to the child’s still-developing brain and skull.

The helmet is smaller, lighter, and more compliant than the adult helmet, and is certified to both DOT FMVSS 218 and ECE 2205 standards.
The shell is contracted of a proprietary woven blend of advanced aerospace carbon fibre, composite fibreglass and kevlar.
The helmet is fitted with four intake ports, 13 transfer ports and four aggressive exhaust ports to assist with ventilation and airflow.

The cheek pads feature an emergency quick release, while the visor is fixed with shear away screws. Weighing in at 1290 grams, the youth helmet is available in a variety of colours, with sizes ranging from youth small to youth extra large.
