Product: ECSTAR oil range

Suzuki launches genuine oil line to be released in 2017.

Suzuki Australia has used the Australian MotoGP at Phillip Island to announce the introduction of ECSTAR products into Australia. Suzuki’s genuine motorcycle oil brand, ECSTAR is a premium product available exclusively through authorised Suzuki motorcycle dealers and has been developed in the highest level of motorcycle competition by Suzuki, for Suzuki’s.

ECSTAR has been on sale locally in Japan since 1984 and in 2015 it became a globally recognised brand when it partnered with Suzuki in its return to MotoGP competition as Team Suzuki ECSTAR, fielding Maverick Viñales and Aleix Espargaro. For the first phase of the launch Suzuki will introduce the R7000 and R9000 product lines. R7000 is a premium semi-synthetic oil while R9000 is the top-of-the-line premium fully-synthetic oil.

ECSTAR has been specifically designed by Suzuki engineers to provide protection against engine wear, promote easier engine starting, anti-wear protection at high temperatures, excellent friction cooling reduction characteristics, control sludge and rust formation, improve fuel economy and reduce pollutant emissions. Completely quality tested and approved by Suzuki Motor Corporation Japan.

Both oils will be available in one-litre and four-litre bottles, SAE 10w40 grade and formulated to meet the specific demands of the latest generation of high performance Suzuki engines. ECSTAR four-stroke motorcycle oil also meets Jaso T903:2011 MA2 requirements – the high friction level ensures optimum performance and protection of the transmission and clutch.

“We’re very excited to officially launch the ECSTAR brand in Australia,” said Suzuki Australia’s national motorcycle marketing manager, Lewis Croft. “There’s been a lot of interest from the public and our dealer network since returning to MotoGP and we’re pleased to be able to offer the very best oil product to our customers.”

Available from Suzuki dealers nationwide in January, prices are set at $27.95 (one-litre) and $99.95 (four-litre) R9000 full synthetic and $19.95 (one-litre) and $69.95 (four-litre) semi-synthetic. There will also be additional products added to the range including other oils, chemicals and lubricants later in 2017.
