AME Management has confirmed 2015 Red Bull X-Fighters World Champion Clinton Moore will contest the FMX Best Trick competition at the 2016 Sydney AUS-X Open on 12-13 November.

Moore is the first major FMX drawcard to confirm his entry for the event, which will see him endeavour to take his share of the record-breaking $120,000 prize purse.

The popular Queenslander spoke of his excitement for the event that will take place at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, while also hinting at unveiling a world-first trick in front of an Australian crowd.

“I’m really looking forward to competing at the 2016 AUS-X Open,” Moore explained. “I love competing and to have a best-trick competition on home soil, it just brings another element to the whole event. You always want to win in your home country.”

“Nothing beats the Aussie Pride – the fans have your back the entire time. Australians, in my mind, are the most passionate FMX fans in the world. I’m ready to throw down a world-first trick, and I’m excited to see what my competition is bringing to the table too – the entire contest will be truly unmissable.”

A selection of international riders, including Ryan Villopoto, Chad Reed and Cooper Webb, have been confirmed to take part in the supercross event that will run alongside the FMX Best Trick competition.
