The American was able to hold off Dean Ferris (CDR Yamaha) in the main despite many attempts for the lead from the recently crowned Australian motocross champion. Current number one plate holder Daniel Reardon (CDR Yamaha) narrowly edged out Todd Waters (Wilson’s Coolair Motul Suzuki) for the third after the pair traded positions on multiple occasions in the earlier stages of the race.
