Suzuki World MXGP team manager Stefan Everts has confirmed the three-rider international line-up that will represent Suzuki at the inaugural 2016 Monster Energy Supermotocross Riders Cup.

Jeremy Seewer, Arminas Jasikonis and Jake Weimer will contest the highly anticipated event scheduled to commence on October 8 at Gelsenkirchen in Germany.

“Our special guest is not going to be from Europe, and unfortunately it’s not going to be James Stewart, although we did try to make that happen but he got injured recently, so it will be Jake Weimer, the former Lites supercross champion,” shared Everts.

“I’m really looking forward to having Jake on the team to help the younger riders, so it’s going to be good.”

All seven major manufactures will send a three-rider squad, plus the addition of a ‘joker’ rider to represent their brand at the Supermotocross Riders Cup, which will take place on a hybrid-style motocross circuit built inside the Veltins Arena.

Previously announced riders include Ryan Dungey, Jeffrey Herlings, Jason Anderson, Tim Gajser and several more international names.
