Beaton leads into penultimate round

DPH Motorsport press release:

With only two rounds remaining of the 2016 MX Nationals Series, DPH Motorsport are sitting in exactly the position that they were after with MX2 rider Jed Beaton currently holding possession of the red plate and MX1 rider Jacob Rider comfortably in seventh, going from strength to strength each and every week.

Jed was fortunate enough to race one round of the MXGP in Switzerland between rounds eight and nine and has now returned to Australia to complete his final preparation prior to two of the most important rounds of his career to date. Going into round nine, Jed will be looking for wins in both moto’s to ensure he has the best advantage possible for the season final in Coolum in two weeks time.

“Pretty keen for this weekend. I have been putting in heaps of effort off the bike running and cycling and am feeling really confident heading into the final two rounds” Said Beaton.

Riding on home soil is always an advantage and MX1 rider Jacob Wright will look to use that this weekend on his competitors. Currently sitting in seventh position, Wright will focus on gaining
valuable Championship points that will hopefully see him crack the top five with only 41 points separating him and current fifth place rider, Matt Moss.

“Super excited for the weekend racing at my home of Toowoomba. I’ve been sticking to my usual program and plan to finish these last two weeks strong” Said Wright.

DPH continue their assault on the 2016 MX Nationals Championship at round nine in Toowoomba, QLD this Sunday 21st August 2016.
