Honda Australia has confirmed that the cross country-based 2017 CRF450RX model unveiled in America this week won’t be available in the local Australian market.

The highly-anticipated CRF450R motocross model revealed last night has taken social media by storm since, however fans have also paid particular attention to the off-road CRF450RX alongside it.

In comparison with the CRF450R motocross variant, the CRF450RX’s differences include an 8.3-litre tank plastic fuel tank, an 18-inch rear wheel, off-road tyres, a kickstand, electric start standard, calmer ECU settings, revised suspension valving and off-road specification engine brackets for flex purposes.

MotoOnline.com.au has received confirmation that the 2017 Honda CRF450RX won’t be imported or available in Australia. The CRF450RX has been released as a closed-course competition model in the US, not meeting the registration requirements of Australia.
