Wanneroo hosted the C-Grade Lites at round five of the Motul MX Nationals over the weekend, won by KTM-mounted Ryan Berryman in the rough, sandy conditions of Western Australia.

Berryman qualified quickest in the support category and went on to win all three motos between the pro classes on Sunday. It was a dominant performance with a sizable local crowd watching on.

“It’s awesome to get a win here at Wanneroo,” Berryman commented. “Being local to the track I was excited going in to the weekend and it’s all paid off. With all of the bikes racing on the track it was crazy out there. I just kept looking ahead and doing the best I could to get through it all.”

With 1-1-1 results across three motos, Berryman concluded the round at Wanneroo on the top step of the podium, while Brendon Bayliss (Yamaha) secured second overall and Tim Jacobs (Honda) third.
