Beaton retains red plates as Wright makes positive debut

DPH Motorsport press release:

On one of the most anticipated tracks of the year, Murray Bridge did not disappoint on Sunday for round 4 of the 2016 MX Nationals Series. It was a successful day for both DPH boys, with consistent points going towards their overall championship standings.

It was another impressive round for Jed with a great start and consistently strong riding saw him place 2nd in moto 1. After a terrible start in moto 2,Jed had to claw his way from the back of the pack and successfully finished in 4th for the moto and 3rd place overall for the round. Jed remains the holder of the red plate with 1st place in the Championship standings by just one point.

“Good weekend for me, lots of positives to take away. I had better starts which helped” Said Beaton. Jacob Wright showed some promising results with his maiden ride with the DPH team. Jacob was consistent and placed 8-9 respectively in moto’s taking 8th overall for the round. Jacob currently sits in 10th overall in the Championship standings.

“Overall it was a solid weekend for me. My riding has improved a lot from last round, which is a big positive. I’m looking forward to keeping the ball rolling in Perth this weekend” Said Wright.

DPH continue their assault on the 2016 MX Nationals Championship at Round 5 in Wanneroo, Western Australia this Sunday 29th May.
