AME Management has announced the AUS-X Open will officially return to Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena (formerly Allphones) on 12-13 November, with pre-sale ticket information released this evening.

The event will once again boast world-class Supercross and Freestyle Motocross Best Trick competitions, featuring as the grand final of the 2016 Australian Supercross Championship.

“It’s awesome to be bringing the AUS-X Open back to Sydney for another year!” commented event director Adam Bailey. “It truly is a testament to the dedicated Supercross and FMX fans in Australia and we can’t wait to deliver another incredible show.”

Once again, a pre-sale ticket list has been created for the public to sign up to, following the Saturday event in 2015 completely selling out within a matter of days. Click here for registration.

“We’re urging fans to sign up to the link because of how quickly last year sold out, and for what we have in store so far this year, we have no doubts that it’ll sell out even faster!”

With the inaugural AUS-X Open deemed a huge success at Sydney Olympic Park, the event will once again be teaming up with the NSW Government’s tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.

Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events and Minister for Sport, Stuart Ayres, said the 2016 AUS-X Open would be a highlight on the NSW Events Calendar.

“The AUS-X Open was a fantastic event in 2015, attracting almost 10,000 domestic and international overnight visitors to Western Sydney,” he explained.

“I am pleased that it will be returning in November 2016, having once again been secured for the State by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.

“The AUS-X Open promises to be even bigger and better this year, I look forward to seeing the world class line-up of riders who will be taking part.”

Again for 2016, the event will feature pyrotechnics, light and sound and first class entertainment values, all indoors in the comfort of Qudos Bank Arena, with a pit paddock area accessible on the outside of the arena for accredited fans.
