National Pump Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team’s Kade Mosig will attempt to contest the fourth round of the Motul MX Nationals at Murray Bridge following a heavy crash last weekend.

Mosig crashed awkwardly and was struck by Todd Waters in the second moto at Broadford, immediately attended to by the RACESAFE Medical Team and undergoing scans this week.

Following initial pelvic concerns, it’s understood Mosig sustained a minor fracture of his L1 vertebra in the clash, but is poised to return to the KX450F in the latter stages of next week.

“Both Kade and the National Pump Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team are extremely happy with the outcome and we thank the RACESAFE crew for their help once again,” explained team manager Troy Carroll. “We look forward to being on the start line for Murray Bridge to gain some points back in this championship!”

Once back aboard the National Pump Monster Energy Kawasaki, Mosig will plan to line-up at Murray Bridge’s fourth round in South Australia on 22 May.
