Raceline Pirelli KTM reset and ready for Round three

Raceline Pirelli KTM press release:

Raceline Pirelli KTM team members Wade Kirkland and Dylan Wills, are aiming to impress at round three of the MX Nationals this weekend, when they take on the natural terrain at the State Motorcycle Complex in Broadford.

The KTM mounted pair who have both made solid progress throughout two rounds so far, are in solid positions ahead of round three this weekend, and will make the trip down to Victoria after two weeks preparing for the next instalment of the MX Nationals.

Kirkland, who currently sits in an impressive third position in the Pirelli MXD Championship standings, is a mere 23 points off the lead, and has his eyes set on the top step of the podium this weekend.

“This year, being my first year in the seniors has been a big learning curve for me, but after my results from round one and two, I have shown I have the pace to run with the front guys and have placed myself in a strong position in the championship,” he said.

“Heading in to Broadford this weekend I am hoping just to remain consistent and produce good results in both motos, plus try and put some more points on the board.

“I have been working on improving my preparation so I can tackle Broadford head on – it would be awesome to get the top step on the podium for the team this weekend.”

After sustaining an injury ahead of the season, Wills has battled through in the MX2 class, however with another two weeks’ recovery under his belt, the young KTM mounted rider is feeling more and more comfortable with each ride on the bike.

“After a mixed start to the season I have just been focussing on preparing myself ahead of round three at Broadford,” he said.

“Everything has been a lot better, I have reset my goals for Broadford and I am ready to go out there and fight to see where I end up!

“I am feeling really good in practice and I believe I still have a lot more in me to prove, I believe in myself, my program and my team and I am going to keep chipping away at the results to get to where we want to be.”

Raceline Pirelli KTM will now head to Broadford, Victoria, for round three of the MX Nationals which kicks off this Sunday May 1.
