Form

Our picks:
Dean Ferris (MX1) – The Broadford circuit should suit Ferris with his MXGP background and smooth riding style. Combine that with his added confidence coming off the Appin round win and he will be very strong.

Caleb Ward (MX2) – The KTM Motocross Racing Team rider has captured both the Horsham and Appin overall victories already, and although the MX2 category is stacked with talent, it’s hard to look past Ward for another win – he’s looking really good in 2016.

Next best:
Kirk Gibbs (MX1) – The defending champion, aboard his KTM Motocross Racing KTM 450 SX-F, has been right there in the mix of things all season. He’s super smooth, smart and fast, he’ll be right there battling for the win.

Jake Moss (MX2) – The National Pump Monster Energy Kawasaki rider had a tough round at Appin and he’ll be eager to bounce back in Broadford. He’s proven he has the speed on the smaller bike, it’s only a matter of time before he puts it all together.

Outside chances:
Matt Moss (MX1) – If Moss has managed to deal with the reported health issues he was dealing with at Appin, he’s obviously a strong pick to be right there battling for the overall with the likes of Ferris, Gibbs, Waters and more.

Nathan Crawford (MX2) – Crawford has been strong in the opening rounds and currently sits second overall in the championship. He’s a serious contender in 2016 and definitely a rider to keep your eyes on this weekend.

Watch for:
MX1 – Dylan Long, Brett Metcalfe, Dan Reardon, Kade Mosig, Jay Wilson

MX2 – Wade Hunter, Jed Beaton, Luke Arbon, Kale Makeham, Wilson Todd
