The Motul Pirelli Sherco Factory Team and JT Racing have partnered up ahead of the 2016 Australian off-road racing season with riders Justin Carafa and Wil Ruprecht set to represent the brand.

Carafa and Ruprecht will wear a combination of the Protek and Hyperlite Voltage race wear paired up with the ALS 2.0 helmet, a first in the Australian off-road scene according to Tren Cramer from JT Racing Australia.

“We are very excited about this newly-formed partnership between JT Racing and Sherco Australia,” said Cramer. “This is the first time an off-road team has represented the brand in Australia and we wanted to be part of a growing brand and saw a great opportunity to build a long-term relationship with a very professional Sherco outfit.”

Sherco brand manager, Stephen Tuff, looks forward to the newly-formed partnership with the iconic brand worn by legends such as David Bailey, Johnny O’Mara and Jean-Michel Bayle.

“JT Racing is an iconic brand,” said Tuff. “And while it’s known as the gear on legends like Jean-Michel Bayle we’re breaking new ground in the Australian off-road scene this year and we’re proud to have JT Racing behind us. The gear looks fantastic and it’s built to perform, just like our race bikes.”

The Motul Pirelli Sherco Factory Team will officially debut the JT Racing gear at round one of the Australian Off-Road Championship at Kilkivan, Queensland on 19 March.
