Racer X has reported Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Adam Cianciarulo has suffered a broken wrist this week following a practice crash.

Cianciarulo is expected to be off the bike for a minimum period of six weeks, meaning he will indeed miss a majority of the 2016 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Eastern Regional 250SX Championship.

The 19-year-old won the first supercross race he ever competed in at Arlington in 2014, before a string of unfortunate injuries forced him to spend more of his professional career on the couch injured rather than on the bike racing.

Stay tuned for more details on Cianciarulo’s recovery and scheduled return date as they become available.
