DPH's Bopping battles to top five result at J2 round

DPH Peter Stevens Yamaha press release:

Another exciting round for the DPH duo at Round 4, Jimboomba last Saturday. Both boys have well and truly proven that they have the ability to win races, the focus now will be on putting all the pieces of the puzzle together to do so in the remaining two rounds of the Australian Super-X series over the next two weekends.

“J2 was a pretty decent round for me. I had decent heat races considering the heat (5th and 3rd). In the main I was running near the front but shuffled back to 5th by the end. My lap couple of laps weren’t great but the bike felt good” said Bopping.

Wade went into round 4 feeling confident after his first podium performance only a few weeks ago at the very same track. He won his heat race but unfortunately it didn’t all come together in the main event. Wade is proving round after round that he’s up there with the best in class this year.

“I felt really good on Saturday, qualified 3rd, won my heat race and was feeling great on the bike. I got taken out in the main race and hit my head pretty hard, resulting in a DNF. I was really bummed about how it turned out but I’ll have a rest this week and come out swinging in Sydney” said Hunter.

DPH Motorsports continue their assault on the 2015 Supercross Championship at Round 5 in Allphones Arena, NSW on November 28th.
