Organisers of this Saturday’s fourth round of the 2015 Australian Supercross Championship presented by Penrite Oil at Jimboomba X Stadium in south-east Queensland will stage a Best Whip contest.

At the J2 supercross six of the best big Whip masters will get to strut their stuff in a special aerial shoot-out that will bring the fans to their feet in a battle of Team Honda/Team Yamaha.

Team Honda includes American ace and current Australian SX2 Championship points leader Jimmy Decotis from the Penrite Honda Racing team, alongside Penrite Honda Wilson MX team’s Luke Wilson and Geran Stapleton.

Team Yamaha boasts CDR Yamaha ace and current Australian SX1 Championship third placed rider Kade Mosig, who will be joined by DPH Motorsports Peter Stevens Yamaha teammates Lawson Bopping and Wade Hunter.

“There are battles going on in every class of the 2015 Australian Supercross Championships this weekend, but the battle for the title of Best Whip at the J2 Jimboomba Supercross is going to be every bit as fierce as the racing,” explains Jimboomba X Stadium event organiser Scott Bannan. “Everyone loves a good whip, and we’ll have six of the best big whip exponents giving it their all on Saturday night – the Best Whip contest will be awesome!”

Tickets to Saturday’s J2 Jimboomba Supercross event, which will feature a totally redesigned USA-style track with elevated start gate and deep sand pit section, are on-sale now via the www.e-ticket.com.au web site.

Gates to the Jimboomba X Stadium venue open at 2pm, with a pit party kicking of at 4:30pm where fans can meet the stars of supercross and get their autographs and witness a special mechanic’s challenge, before all the racing action fires into life from 5:00pm.
