Mcleary and Madden ready to race SX for Raceline Pirelli Suzuki

Raceline Pirelli Suzuki press release:

Raceline Pirelli Suzuki are ready to line up for round one of the 2015 Australian Supercross Championship in Bathurst this weekend, returning to a complete two rider team in Brock Mcleary and Jesse Madden.

With a solid four weeks of preparation under their belt, the Suzuki backed race team is ready for their first hit out at in the iconic New South Wales country town, with Mcleary taking on the SXD class, while Madden will step up to the talent packed SX2 class.

For Madden, the step up couldn’t have come at a more perfect time – and with a solid motocross season with Raceline under the belt, says’ he’s excited to see where he fits in to the SX2 standings.

“I’m really keen for this weekend – I didn’t really expect to go straight into the SX2 class but I’m excited for the challenge,” he said. “I’ve been training hard and riding a lot of Supercross so I’m feeling really good about Bathurst this weekend.

“The Raceline guys have done an awesome job with the bike and we have made a lot of changes. I’ve found an awesome setting so I’m excited to see how I go. “The bike is fast, and I have a totally different setup but I’ve really gelled with the changes and I’m pumped to get out there this weekend.”

Mcleary, who has recently returned from injury, will make his comeback to racing with the support of Raceline Pirelli Suzuki this weekend, and says he’s determined not to see another SXD championship slip away from him.

“I feel really good actually – having eight months off the bike wasn’t fun, but I’m back on the bike now, I have a month under my belt and I’m feeling good,” he said. “We did a lot of testing at my house in preparation for the Supercross and the boys have done an amazing job getting me comfortable.

“I have my bike setup a bit softer than most people and the way the track is looking at the moment, I think it’s going to play in my favour. “Jesse (Madden) and I get along really well, we’re pretty similar so it’s going to be fun working with him this season.

“I’m really confident coming in to this weekend – I’ve put in the work, and last year I let the championship slip away from me at the last minute so, this year I want to make sure I get the job done.
