GYTR Yamaha has called in Jordan Hill for the 2015 Australian Supercross Championship, replacing new MX Nationals MXD class champion Wilson Todd as he recovers from recent knee surgery.

Reigning Australian Junior Supercross Champion Hill will line up alongside Mitch Evans in the SXD division for Under 19s racers, making for a formidable combination on board the factory-backed YZ250Fs.

“It’s a great opportunity to ride for the GYTR Yamaha team and I’m really happy with how things have gone since I have gotten on the bike,” Hill said. “I have always liked supercross and had pretty good results in it, so hopefully with the extra support I can continue to improve and develop as a rider.”

Hill, who finished seventh in the outdoor MXD series, will make his official debut with the GYTR Yamaha team when the Australian Supercross season commences at Bathurst, New South Wales, this Saturday, 10 October.
