Aussies on top with Sherco at ISDE

Sherco Australia press release:

Australian Enduro Teams win with Jess Gardiner and Broc Grabham aboard the Sherco 300SEF-R

Australian Sherco riders Jess Gardiner and Broc Grabham have enjoyed the ultimate success in what is regarded as the Olympics of enduro. The 2015 instalment of the International Six Day Enduro was held in Slovakia last week with Australia fielding three very strong teams.

Motul Pirelli Sherco Enduro Team rider Broc Grabham was part of the four-rider Australian Junior Trophy Team for riders under 23 years. Grabham chose the 300SEF-R Factory edition to battle the world’s best enduro riders and after six hard-fought days of pure enduro racing the Australian Junior Team were victorious over Sweden and Italy.

This was Grabham’s first international racing experience and in terms of prestige and sheer magnitude you couldn’t get bigger than the ISDE. Grabham’s consistent pace combined with the bullet-proof 300SEF-R made him a pivotal part of the victorious Team.

Jess Gardiner was in her element aboard her Enduro World Championship Sherco 300SEF-R as part of the three-rider Australian Women’s Trophy Team. Gardiner put in a fine performance to help the Team win the ISDE for the third year straight. Despite plenty of crashes Gardiner’s speed and determination saw her place third in class with a fine second place in the final moto.

The Sherco 300SEF-R gained plenty of fans during the ISDE with French rider Loic Larrieu winning day 5 outright and eventually placing third in the highly competitive E2 class. The E1 class featured some very fast Sherco riders with France’s Anthony Boissiere placing second and Spain’s Lorenzo Santolino fourth aboard the Sherco 250SEF-R.

Jess Gardiner and Broc Grabham will both race in the upcoming Australian Four Day Enduro in Tasmania October 19-25.
