Proformance Kawasaki team back to full strength

Ryan joins Morris as MX Nationals series resumes.

Proformance Kawasaki press release:

Gates dropped for Rd6 of the MX Nationals at Raymond Terrace on the 5th of July. No team was more excited to go racing than the Proformance Kawasaki Race Team. This was our opportunity to better ourselves for the second half of the series and also the return of injured rider Matt Ryan.

The goal was simple have both bikes in the top ten at the end of the day something we haven’t been able to do yet unfortunately we again come up a little short on the goal but it certainly was a positive step forward.

Moto 1 was a hectic race with riders going down left right and center on the first lap both Alex and Matt managed to stay off the ground but got held up in the carnage which resulted in
both riders being well outside the top 10 on completion of lap one. Both boys charged the moto hard and Alex had a small crash while trying to improve his position.

Between the moto’s the team focused on a better start and being in the race from lap 1 for moto 2. Matt did just that put himself in great position to battle with the leaders. With three laps to go Matt was running 6th and on the same straight as third as Matt gets more races under his belt he will be able to charge harder in the later laps.

Overall for the day the team finished Matt 10th Alex 12th. The team will now gear up for its local round at Shepparton for rd7 of the series in two weeks time.
