Moss then went on to collect fourth in race two – providing him with second overall for the round and putting Motul Oils back on the MX1 podium.

Matt Moss:

“It was good to get my first Superpole win of the season that was for sure,” he said. “Leading into the round I felt confident, we worked hard during the mid season break and I am starting to find my feet again.

“To land back on the podium with the continued support of Motul was a great feeling. The bike felt great all day and everyone was behind me 100%. It was a huge step towards getting back onto that top step overall and to remind everyone what we are capable of.”

NPS Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Adam Monea and Dylan Long also showed encouraging results at round six. Monea recording sixth in moto one and fifth in moto two, providing him with fifth overall for the round and holding third in the MX1 championship.

For Long, who was a last minute call up to replace injured Jake Moss, round six provided some of his best results of the season. After taking an impressive fifth in moto one in his first appearance for the team, Long finished seventh in race two, providing Kawasaki and Motul with fifth overall for the round.
