Stunning form as a replacement at GEICO Honda has seen Christian Craig signed for the entire 2016 season, an announcement by the team has confirmed this week.

Craig, who is the son-in-law of team co-owner Jeff Majkrzak, initially retired at the close of 2013, however several strong appearances as a substitute rider at GEICO Honda have led to a fulltime return.

“I honestly can’t put into words how much this opportunity means to me,” 23-year-old Craig said. “Before I retired, I could have only dreamed of being on the GEICO Honda team and now it’s a reality. It’s crazy to me and I feel like it’s a dream.”

Craig has taken eight top 10 results in the 10 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross motos he’s raced as replacement for Justin Bogle in the 250 Class this year, including a first-career podium at Red Bud last weekend.
