Australia’s Jarryd McNeil has claimed an emphatic gold medal in the Moto X Best Whip contest to wrap up the 2015 X Games, held at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

McNeill won with a 59 percent scoring in the special ‘fan vote’ contest, ahead of Tom Parsons and Todd Potter. Josh Sheehan was eighth.

Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams brought home a silver medal in the Moto X Speed & Style. He took on eventual gold medal winner Nate Adams in the final, the pair trading position multiple times before Bilko crashed out of contention.

That left Adams to bring home an easy gold medal, with Bilko second and Mike Mason getting the better of Adam Jones in the race for bronze. Earlier, McNeil bowed out in the quarter-finals against Mason.

The new Quarter Pipe competition saw Thomas Pages win from Levi Sherwood and Sheehan, while Cameron Sinclair was credited sixth after crashing out of contention.

In the Men’s Enduro X final it was current Australian champion Mike Brown who claimed the gold medal, ahead of Taylor Robert and US EnduroCross champion Cody Webb.

Winning the gold in the Women’s Enduro X was World Enduro Champion and 13-time World Trials Champion Laia Sanz, edging out Tarah Gieger and Kacy Martinez for the 2015 victory.

It was no surprise to see multiple-time gold medal winner Ronnie Renner claim yet another Step Up victory at 34ft, trailed by Massimo Bianconcini and Libor Podmol.

This year’s running of X Games also saw the highly-anticipated debut of Flat Track, won by Bryan Smith over Sammy Halbert and Brad Baker.
