Popular American Josh Hill has been confirmed for the 2015 Manjimup 15,000 at Cosy Creek in Western Australia on 5-7 June.

Hill will form part of the event’s international line-up alongside New Zealand’s Brad Groombridge, with a host of national level riders yet to be confirmed.

Hill stated that he’s excited to be racing the Manjimup 15,000, and he can’t wait to see how he goes against some of the best riders Australia has to offer.

“I can’t wait to get down to Western Australia and race the Manjimup 15,000 and take on the world’s best and see how I stack up,” said Hill.

Just like Hill, Groombridge is eager to race the Manjimup 15,000, despite only confirming his attendance a couple of weeks out from the event.

“I received a call this past week from Chris Clark asking if I was keen to come over,” Groombridge commented. “He was out here in October for my home club Taupo’s big MX Fest and it was decided that whoever won our feature race got a trip to Manjimup. The rider that would have been in line to go is injured and next in line was myself, so I’m super-excited to be heading over.”

Practice will be held on Friday, with the juniors competing on Saturday and the Manjimup 15,000 taking place on Sunday. Visit the event’s official website for further information.
