Youthstream has confirmed that the round 16 of the 2015 MXGP World Championship will take place at Mantova, Italy, on 22-23 August as the MXGP of Lombardia.

The Mantova round replaces Brazil on the schedule, which was previously cancelled by the event organisers due to an unstable political situation and financial difficulties.

It was initially expected that the CBM (Brazilian Motorcycle Federation) would host an alternate round in the country, however it’s now been confirmed Brazil is off this year’s calendar.
