Horsham circuit takes shape for MX Nationals

Horsham is more than ready to handle close to a hundred riders.

MX Nationals press release:

Only a few days out from round one of MX Nationals, and Horsham is more than ready to handle close to a hundred riders who will fire up their engines for the series opener this weekend.

With bikes, teams and riders putting the finishing touches on their 2015 setups, the first circuit of the series is looking better than ever, and will provide perfect conditions when the MX Nationals rolls into Horsham on March 29.

Horsham Motorcycle Club President Kenny Watts, shared his excitement in hosting the series opener, and guaranteed that Horsham will dish out the goods this weekend.

“Everything is looking great so far. We started putting water down on the track last week, and the council has given us ten truckloads of mulch to incorporate into the track, which will be great,” he said.

“We have learnt a lot over the years about how to best prepare the surface for a national event, and we will definitely deliver a nationally prepared venue this weekend.

“There have been some significant changes to the track this year and with the work that we have put in, riders and spectators can expect Horsham to look like a million bucks on Sunday!

“We have extended a lot of jumps, and with what the club has done with the rhythm sections, it should provide better timing for the bikes and more opportunities to actually do the rhythm sections.

“The track will no doubt get rutty and rough. And in the famous words of Josh Cachia, ‘If you can ride Horsham, you’re a real man’.”

With all of the big names lining up on Sunday, it’s anyone’s guess as to who is going to take the win and who is going to ‘man up’ and handle the first circuit of the season.

Horsham can be sure that round one of this years MX Nationals series, is going to be nothing short of action packed.
