The final touches to the 2015 Motul Suzuki RM-Z450 race machines of Matt Moss and Kale Makeham have been put in place with the duo now ready to rock the 2015 MX Nationals.

With just two weeks until the opening round of the Australian motocross championship kicks off at Horsham, Victoria on the 29th of March, Jay Foreman and his team have been hard at work putting the final touches on their race bikes, ready to once again defend the title Matt Moss has won for the previous two years.

“Our bikes are awesome, they are even better than they were last year.” Foreman enthused. “We are really happy with the bike, the new 2015 RM-Z450 is great bike and we are ready to go racing.

“Matt’s had a busy start to the year, with a fair bit going on, but he is prepared and focused on what he has to do and will come out firing.

“Kale is looking exceptionally good heading into the season, every time I see him on the bike he is looking better and more comfortable.

“I am expecting big things from him this year, he just has to be patient and get through the first few rounds in good shape and go from there.”

It has been a busy off season for two time defending MX1 champion Matt Moss who spent the early part of this year racing the AMA Supercross Championship before returning home to get married.

With the Australian season fast approaching the rider who will run the number one plate throughout the 2015 Motocross and Supercross seasons has spent the pre-season working alongside a new personal trainer and his long time coach ready to take aim at his third straight MX1 title alongside race day mechanic Jess Foreman.

“I am feeling confident heading into the season, my dad has been working with me down at the Moss Institute on the bike and I have a new personal trainer on-board for this season and what she has been able to teach me so far has been really good.

“All in all the off the bike training I have been doing has been ten fold anything else I have done before!

“At the end of the day we are working towards having the number one plate again at the end of the season, I know I am capable of it and definitely the team is so we are looking the goods.”

Joining Matt Moss on the team for 2015 is MX1 rookie Kale Make who will return to running his traditional race number of #96 this year.

With a solid pre-season under his belt and a fist full of confidence in his new race bike, the Victorian charger is more than prepared for his first season in the premier class of racing in Australia.

“Being my rookie year in the MX1 class, surrounding myself with a strong experienced team is important and I feel as though I have signed with the best team in the pits.” Makeham said. “I am so glad that Jay and the team took me on board and I am looking forward to learning, building and progressing as the year goes on.

“The team have bought on a new mechanic in Brad Redman, it is his first year on the team which is kind of cool as we will both be learning the ropes together. He has been there for a month or two now, we get along well and we are both looking forward to getting to the races.

“Everything is heading in the right direction for round one, testing has gone well, my practice bike is awesome and everything is ahead of schedule.” Makeham concluded.
