Sherco Motorcycles Australia will field its first official enduro racing team in 2015 with backing from Motul and Pirelli.

The team will operate as the Motul Pirelli Sherco Enduro Team and will be headlined by NSW-based rider Broc Grabham.

“Sherco Motorcycles Australia is extremely pleased to have partnered with such premium brands in Motul and Pirelli,” explained Sherco brand manager Stephen Tuff.

“Motul was an obvious choice for us given that both Sherco and Motul are French brands with a solid grounding here in Australia. Motul is very popular with the dirt bike public and for good reason, it’s top-shelf in the world of motorcycle lubricants.

“The partnership between Motul and Sherco here in Australia mirrors that of the Sherco TVS Racing Team currently contesting the 2015 Dakar on the Sherco RTR450.

“Similarly, Pirelli has a string of MX and enduro titles here in Australia partly because the tyres are great. It’s comforting to know that our riders will be going into off-road battle with the best tyres and lubricants available.”

The Motul Pirelli Sherco Enduro Team will make its first official outing at round one of the Australian Enduro-X Nationals on 7 February at Brisbane’s Archerfield Speedway, where Grabham will officially debut for the Team on the Sherco 300SEF-R.

“Broc has been training hard on the 300SEF-R and is looking forward to racing,” Tuff explained. “The Motul Pirelli Sherco Enduro Team is in for a huge 2015. We’ll be contesting the Enduro-X Nationals, the Australian Off-Road Championship, the Australian Four-Day Enduro and selected desert events. We have some exciting new models coming out and we’ll be announcing a new team rider very shortly.”
