Yamaha Australia’s GYTR Yamaha MXD race team will be powered by ETS Racing Fuels for the 2015 season.

The newly-formed relationship between the GYTR Yamaha team and ETS Racing Fuels will see the YZ250Fs of Wilson Todd and Mitch Evans reach even higher levels of performance with the ETS 100 MA-3 pulsating through the race machines.

“At the end of 2014 we did a review of the season and looked at every aspect of our bikes and team and how we could improve,” team manager Scott Bishop said. “We tested a range of fuels and the ETS 100 MA-3 was by far the best performing fuel we tried and it proved to be the case both in the dyno room and on the track.

“Not only did we gain performance but there was a noticeable difference in the cleanliness of the engine and the durability of the parts. For us it was simple; more power, better performance and durability, so we reached out to Simon Ingram at IMS, the distributor of ETS Racing Fuels, and now welcome them on board as a team partner for the 2015 season.”

ETS Racing Fuels began in 1989 and have since quickly built a reputation of making championship race fuel in a wide variety of motorsports. They have long been the life blood of factory motocross teams in Europe and have amassed plenty of world championships along the way.

They then turned their attention to the US market and won the AMA Motocross championship not long after opening for business in the US.

“The partnership with the GYTR Yamaha team came along at the perfect time for us,” said Ingram. “We had already developed relationships with teams in the MX1 class and were interested in supporting up and coming riders and teams to show case our products to the junior and younger generations.

“The GYTR Yamaha team are the perfect platform for our products and we look forward to working with them for the 2015 season and establishing a long and successful relationship with a proven development team.”

The national race season gets underway on 29 March when the 10-round MX Nationals season roars into life at Horsham in Victoria.
