Team Motul Suzuki’s Matt Moss will contest the annual Paris-Bercy Supercross this weekend in France, in an 11th-hour deal arranged by Alpinestars on the eve of the Brisbane Australian Supercross Championship finale.

Fresh from clinching a fourth title in two years for Suzuki on board the RM-Z450, Moss is a late inclusion for the prestigious French supercross.

“It’s really, really good and we’ve been busy getting everything ready,” Moss told MotoOnline.com.au. “The plan is to race my bike, so we’re taking that over and it was organised by Alpinestars and my step mum, Rona, had a bit to do with it. They made it happen.

“We’re going racing against some of the best riders in the world, so I’m excited for that, and looking at the track it’s probably one that suits an Australian rider especially coming off the Brisbane indoor last weekend. It’s a little bit more familiar to us than what the Americans are used to.”

This year’s Paris-Bercy Supercross will feature an assortment of American and European riders, including Eli Tomac, Justin Barcia, Weston Peick, Justin Brayton, Josh Hill, Malcolm Stewart, Christophe Pourcel, Jordi Tixier, Dylan Ferrandis, Romain Febvre and more.
