ETS Racing Fuels has joined DPH Motorsport Yamaha ahead of the 2014 Australian Supercross Championship, which commences today at Bathurst Showgrounds in New South Wales.

French fuel brand ETS will join the leading privateer team in Australian motocross for the 2014 Australian Supercross and 2015 Australian Motocross Championship as a partner and supplier.

“Dale Hocking’s DPH Motorsport Yamaha outfit is known for being the most professional privateer MX team in the country,” explained Simon Ingram, the director of IMS Pty Ltd, the Asia Pacific distributor of ETS Racing Fuels.

“Against 12 factory bikes over the most recent season they regularly finished inside the top 10 and a number of times were inside the top five.”

Like the factory KTM team in Australia with whom IMS penned a similar deal just recently, DPH Motorsport will also compete using the recently-homologated ETS Racing Fuels 100MA-3.

“Recently we tested the ETS Racing Fuels both on the dyno, and on track,” Hocking confirmed. “I knew ETS is the benchmark product, having claimed both the Pro Motocross series title in the US recently and the MXGP and MX2 world championship titles in Europe, so I wasn’t surprised to find an improvement in the performance of our bikes with the new 100MA-3 fuel.

“I’m excited by what this means for our team, and the sport in general, so much so that we’ve agreed terms with IMS to not just race with the fuel, but supply it and transport it to events and make it available to other teams.”

DPH Motorsport will campaign Kade Mosig and Boyd Hocking for the five-round supercross series and will reveal details soon about their 2015 MX Nationals team.

“It’s an exciting time for Australian motocross and an exciting time for our team,” Hocking added. “With a high profile SX series on the calendar and a strong season of MX to follow, the sport is only going to get better and we’re well placed to continue to take the fight to the factory teams. I can’t wait!”
