NPS Monster Energy Kawasaki has moved to keep the solid combination of Adam Monea and Jake Moss for 2015, coming off a positive first MX Nationals season together this year.

Monea won the Wonthaggi overall in his second year with the Queensland-based factory team on his way to fourth in the standings, while Jake Moss was also a threat throughout the season despite inconsistencies to finish sixth.

While the team is yet to officially confirm its program for next season, both Monea and Moss have been expected to stay put throughout what has been a turbulent silly season to date.

“Right now, you just have to look at the improvements of Adam this year and Jake had a lot of pressure this year, so with another year I think he’ll be right – if it ain’t broke, why try to fix it?” team manager Troy Carroll told MotoOnline.com.au.

“We would like to keep the same infrastructure, same riders, same mechanics and everything else going forward to 2015. I believe this year was the best we’ve had in a lot of years, so the plan is to keep the wheel turning at the same pace.

“If the boys continue to working like they should be over the off-season, we should be right to go, but we’re not quite ready to confirm it all at this point.”

An official announcement from the team once all agreements are finalised could come as soon as next week.
