GYTR Yamaha’s Wilson Todd has set the fastest MXD qualifying time this afternoon ahead of tomorrow’s final round of the Monster Energy MX Nationals at Coolum.

Todd continued his strong run of form just one week following his breakthrough Gladstone win, his 1m50.397 topping Nathan Crawford’s (Husqvarna) 1m50.539 lap.

Todd and Crawford were over a full second ahead of red plate holder Egan Mastin (Husqvarna Motocross Racing Team), who is on track to clinch his first nationals title.

KTM-mounted privateer Jayden Rykers was fourth quickest, with Todd’s guest teammate Kyle Webster shining in fifth.

Title contender Jack Simpson was sixth fastest today, overcoming an ankle/foot injury to keep his title hopes alive for Sunday.
