Western Australian rising talent Kyle Webster will stand in for MXD red plate holder Jed Beaton in the final two rounds of the Monster Energy MX Nationals.

Beaton has been denied a chance at the title in his rookie campaign after breaking his leg in the lead-up to Gladstone’s penultimate round this weekend, causing the team to call in Webster, 18, alongside Wilson Todd.

Webster has been impressive this season in a privateer effort on board a YZ250F with support from Cully’s Yamaha, currently sitting ninth in the championship standings with two rounds remaining.
