Toyota/Yamaha/JGRMX has called in Phil Nicoletti and Vince Friese to substitute for injured regulars Justin Brayton and Josh Grant in the Seattle round of Monster Energy Supercross this weekend.

Nicoletti – the team’s full time reserve rider – will replace Brayton, who injured his hand and knee during the Houston round last Saturday in practice. He’s also still recovering from a broken foot sustained in St. Louis.

Grant will be replaced by Friese, who crashed out of the Houston main event when he was collected from behind at the start. He too was also battered during a bruising St. Louis round for the team.

Friese has been riding Eastern Regional 250SX to date this season for the Factory Metal Works/ClubMX team.

Brayton and Grant’s status will be continuously evaluated and they will return to racing as soon as safely possible.
