Nitro Circus Live has confirmed that Travis Pastrana will return to perform in Australia for the first time in three years when the action sports tour returns in May 2014.

Pastrana recently announced his decision to step away from a full time NASCAR career, resulting in his first Australian tour performing since 2011.

Alongside Pastrana will be the members of the original ‘Nitro Crew’ including Jeremy Rawle, Streetbike Tommy, Special Greg, Jolene Van Vugt, Erik Roner, Crum, Gregg Godfrey, and the whole Godfrey Clan.

The 2014 tour will bring together the greatest action sports cast ever assembled, including current X Games silver medallist in FMX, Adam Jones, as well as X Fighters Champion Thomas Pages.

Fresh from sell-out tours of Europe, North America, Mexico and South Africa, the crew of 40 of the world’s greatest action sports athletes will be bringing a brand-new, death-defying extravaganza to fans down under.

The Australian tour will be the official unveiling of a stunning all-new show according to organisers, developed over the past five years.

Aussie fans will be treated to a newly-designed, multi-million dollar set with unbelievable features that will be seen for the very first time worldwide on this tour.

Some of the new elements include the ‘Wall of Death’, the ‘Launch and Splat’ and the BMX Super Kicker, which will launch the BMX crew into ridiculous rotations including 1080s and world first 1400s.

As well as this, fans will see the ‘Hole in One’ where riders launch 50 feet into the air off the Gigant-A-Ramp and attempt to land with pinpoint accuracy inside an inflatable zorb ball.

Then add in a host of new tricks on a cavalcade of ridiculous contraptions off the jacked up Nitro Gigant-A-Ramp, which is now 10 feet bigger, and will launch riders up to 20 feet further than ever before.

In addition, for the first time in 2014, Nitro Circus Live will be going ‘retro’, with the entire performance choreographed and styled as a 1920s, Barnum & Bailey style circus.
