BMW Motorrad Australia celebrate another successful running of their annual GS Safari. With 200 riders navigating through the epic Victorian High Country, Motology’s Adam Riemann has pieced together an insightful film that shows just why this event is so popular.

In 2013 however, a quick sellout of the Safari saw BMW introduce the GS Enduro – a more challenging variety that pushes the boundaries of GS riding. As you’ll see in Riemann’s film, it’s entertaining to watch and it’d be even better to ride.

Both events started at Merrijig at the base of Mt Buller and over the course of five days, took in some of the iconic areas of Victoria’s Alpine region. Following rivers, cresting alpine passes and visiting some very out of the way areas, riders were treated to some incredible riding and scenery.

Staged from 20 October to 1 November collectively, it looked like a heck of a ride and of course, Riemann looked like he had a blast collecting it all on film.
