KTM has confirmed that Toby Price will be in attendance at this weekend’s Broadford stop on the 2014 KTM Dirt Days schedule.

Rapidly gaining speed and fitness after a major neck injury suffered in April, Price jumped at the chance to attend Sunday’s event, which will be held at the State Motorcycle Complex, Broadford, Victoria.

“This will be my first KTM Dirt Day,” said Price. “And I think they’re a great idea, giving people the opportunity to have a go on all the KTM range when they’re looking to buy.

“It allows people a chance to see which model suits them better and the make the best possible choice. I don’t think too many other brands would do that.”

KTM’s Dirt Days tour has already visited WA and South Australia, and following this weekend’s Victorian visit will travel to Cessnock in NSW and Boonah in Queensland.

The format allows riders to book three test rides on the day, and gain sound advice from noted identities such as Wayne Woodbury (of Race Motorcycles Alice Springs fame) and Willy Thompson (well-known as the promoter of Tumbulgum natural terrain motocross), as well as the aforementioned Price.

“I love being at meetings like these and catching up with everyone,” said the three-time AORC champion. “It’s always good fun trying to help a guy who’s trying to decide which new KTM to buy with some good advice factoring in what he’s likely to do with it and where he’ll ride it.

“I always get asked for a few riding tips too so it’s sure to be a fun event and I’m looking forward to it.”

Riders pay a single $35 registration fee, which covers insurance and administration, but it’s important to get in quick.
