Rewind: Brenden Harrison's recovery

MotoOnline.com.au takes a look back at Brenden Harrison's recovery in this edition of Rewind.

In this edition of MotoOnline.com.au’s Rewind we take a look back at Brenden Harrison’s long and tough road to recovery following a string of injuries that began during the 2010 season.

Harrison has endured a list of injuries and surgeries including multiple femur breaks, a badly broken hand, a break to the base of his skull and a bone graft – a seemingly never ending affair for the likeable character.

The 23-year-old has gone under the knife a number of times during this three-year period, in the mean time making multiple attempts to return to racing only to find himself back on the ground and heading to the operating table once again.

Harrison recently confirmed with MotoOnline (click here to view that story) that he is back on the bike and feeling strong with hopes to make a return for the 2013 Australian Supercross Championship kicking off in Darwin on 14 September.

Harrison is receiving support from Jeff Leisk at KTM Australia and the guys from JDR Motorsports, although the JDR team is no longer, they have offered to support him for the remainder of the 2013 season.

Take a look back at Harrison’s tough road to recovery through his three-part YouTube series below. Stay tuned to MotoOnline.com.au for a confirmed return date in the coming months.
