Pulling the holeshot, MX3/MX2 at the MX of Nations 2009, in France. Finished 12 or 13th.

Leirop 2008 – deep sand.

Long-term goal?
Try and take over the world.

Favourite track?
Titri Park, Dunedin.

If you weren’t a racer, you would be?
Downhill MTBer.

Arch-rival?
That’s a tough one – there’s been a few.

Greatest inspiration?
Trent Reznor.

Superstitions?
None really, nothing comes to mind.

Training methods?
Swim, ride, gym, yoga, MTB, and have fun with it.

Goal for 2012?
To find a contract, been out of the game for two years. To win, grip it and rip it.

Non-bike related hobbies?
Jet ski, snow board, MTB and downhill. I’m home of the adventure capital of the world in Queenstown, always things to do there!

Very rarely, normally just need to pass and go forward.

What do you drive?
My brother’s Toyota Granva. Thanks big bro.

Favourite magazine?
Vice, Rolling Stone.

What’s on the iPod?
Nine Inch Nails. A variety from rock, c and w, hip hop… just not pop!

Best thing about the MX Nationals?
The good weather, girls and Perth!

Other sports you like?
Synchronized swimming, the Olympics are amazing, love all sports apart from cricket.

I back your man Reedy. I want him to win.

When I don’t race I am a tour guide for offroad.co.nz. Two or four wheels or history tours in a 4WD truck.
