Team Honda Muscle Milk has announced that Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Honda Supercross Lites rider Cole Seely will fill in for injured Team Honda Muscle Milk rider Trey Canard.

Seely will ride at select Supercross races beginning with the coming Atlanta round this weekend.

Seely, who currently sits third in the West Coast Lites standings, has already shown last season that he has the skills needed to tackle the big 450 after putting in some solid rides on the bike at selected rounds.

The 21-year-old will once again get the chance to gain vital experience in the Supercross Class.

“Cole proved last year that he has what it takes to run in the Supercross Class,” said Team Honda Muscle Milk manager Erik Kehoe.

“He’s a hard-charger, and a good fit for the team. It’s a great opportunity for Cole to showcase his capability on the CRF450R, while maintaining his competitive skills during the break.”

Seely will be racing the Honda Muscle Milk 450 at round eight this weekend in Atlanta.
