Australia’s Chad Reed should today know the extent of his injuries following a scary crash that forced him out of the Dallas round of Monster Energy AMA Supercross on Saturday night.

The TwoTwo Motorsports team owner/rider went over the handlebars on lap seven while in a runaway battle for the lead with Ryan Villopoto, however the extent of his injuries remain unclear.

I realize arenas are laid out to facilitate some bumping and some crashes. Else, no tickets would be sold. Maybe riders should have some say in the safety.
