yeah it was a dirty move, Im not much of a moss fan after seeing him throw a hissy fit in the Super X over here when his bike was playing up n ended up throwing a punch at that other guy.

Your free to have your opinion and share them here Yanky, but can you post in your original thread rather than making multiple topics every time you post. Thanks!

The guy in front of him was holding him up and he obviously tried to pass him.
This has happened many times in USA Supercross

Gonna give this tipping a shake.

Pop, that guy went past him only a few corners before mate! As Steve M said. If you end up on the ground and over the berm with the guy you tried to pass you proberly didn't have it!

Here is the link for anybody that missed it.

For my 2 cents, it was a racing incident. Sipes was trying to cover both lines through the whoops & into the corner Mossy got desperate. It was the last lap of the LCQ. Could Mossy gone over under maybe but as every1 knows the inside run to the corner is the preferred line.

Thanks for the link mate... I'm undecided after seeing that. He made room where there wasn't much obviously, but it looked like something was affecting his turning, like he was caught up on Sipes or something once they touched. Who knows, I guess only Matt does really! More publicity for JDR than Dream Ride maybe lol

If you look at the slow mo, it does look like his fingers aren't over the front brake lever

I thought he had him and could have stood him up and made it out of the turn. He just went too deep, probably with the view of blocking him well enough that he could get a gap on him, but hey, that happens. Reedy did it to James last year. same scenario.

What was Sipes doing in the LCQ anyway? Didnt he win a 250 main last year and was a fast qualifier at round 1?

Best answer to this - qualify through the heat race and dont put yourself in a last chance free-for-all where desperate racers take chances.

From what i saw on that video, was that they bumped twice before they went down, who knows what happened before that..... Matt looks like he came in hard and his right hand is stuck on Sipes back, which stopped him from turning...... A racing incident from my point of view.... Clumsy maybe, But Matt Moss wont take a backward step from anyone, niether did Ricky, Chad or Bubba, thats why they win and others dont....... Goodluck to all the Aussie's........

caosweaver That is about the most sensible write up so far.

Gonna give this tipping a shake.

yeah i dont think Matt wanted that to happen, that stuff happens in racing, and it was in the LCQ not like it was a heat and they were racing for 10th or 14th..
Matt went in hot and stuffed it up, but there has been some far worse moves pulled by other riders in the past..

You know , I really don't understand what the big deal is , Ive done a lot worst myself in the past and so have so many others ....... The incident was so so soft !! Moss tried what anyone else would have tried in his position ... LCQ - last chance !! Good on him for having a go..... Good spirit !!
